Silas is called to raising up missional and relational disciples of Christ. He is the Apostolic Vicar of The Anglican Mission in Canada, Rector of Richmond Emmanuel Church and adjunct faculty of Acts Seminary, Trinity Western University and Carey Theological College. He is married to Michelle with two sons, Ignatius who is an ordained priest, and Athanasius, who is in his third year of Bio-Chemistry at UBC. Silas graduated from Chinese University of Hong Kong (B.A. Hons. Music), Nashotah House Episcopal Seminary (M. Div.) and Fuller Theological Seminary (D. Min.). Silas is a professional choral conductor and a world-wide speaker on Micro-Macro Discipling and Spiritual Formation in Christian conferences and churches
Josh and Rachel are parents to four lovely and rambunctious kids. When he's not enjoying life with them, Josh also spends his time as pastor of REC English. After completing his M.Div. at Wycliffe College in Toronto, Josh and Rachel moved to BC in 2011 to serve in REC. God has called him to come alongside of and help people grow in their relationship with Jesus as they love God and others with creativity.
Ignatius is called to raising up a culture of multi-generational worship and discipling at REC. Born in Hong Kong and raised in Vancouver, he loves the diversity and intersection of cultures. He is married to Anna, whose family is from South Korea, and father to Zoe, who is learning to speak three languages! They enjoy good coffee and going for sunny walks. Ignatius graduated from Regent College (M. Div.) and UBC (B.A., English Literature), and worked as a wedding videographer and pizza chef. Lucy is passionate for Christ. Her zeal is to help people discover Jesus and to see them flourishing in Christ. She is married to Andrew with two children, a teenage boy, Aaron, and a preteen girl, Anisha. Lucy enjoys the aroma of freshly brewed coffee, the beauty of the nature and the hearty laughter of her family. She is the caring pastor of REC and a network leader for the AM Canada. Prior to church ministry, Lucy served in the marketplace for many years, specializing in sales, promotion, public relations and marketing.
Wendy has over 10 years of bookkeeping experience from various industries like construction, trade, and retail. She has a BCom degree with double majors. Accounting became the profession of choice due to her passion in maintaining and balancing numbers.
Christine has been a part of the Richmond Emmanuel Church family since 2004. She serves as the director of Sparks in Awana and a leader for REC Kids worship. She has experienced God in her life and wants to share her passion with children so that they come to know, love and serve God. Since 2014, she has been the part time administrative assistant for REC.
